Afrojack to release ‘Forget The World’ teaser EP exclusively via Spotify

Ahead of the full release of his eagerly anticipated new album ‘Forget The World’, virtuoso DJ/producer Afrojack is to release a ‘Forget The World’ teaser EP exclusively via Spotify. In an innovative move that mirrors his decision to first reveal the artwork exclusively via Snapchat Stories, the EP is sure to add to the intrigue and excitement surrounding his inaugural major album project.

Comprised of five album tracks, including incredible recent single ‘Ten Feet Tall’ feat. Wrabel, the ‘Forget The World’ EP also offers up exclusive first listens to two extra special collaborations in particular. With Hip-Hop icon Snoop Dogg featuring on ‘Dynamite’, as well as an electrifying Afrojack remix of Thirty Seconds To Mars’ ‘Do Or Die’, it’s an EP that gives fans a taste of what to expect from the album when it lands in stores on May 19th.

From the soaring, anthemic feel of ‘Ten Feet Tall’ to the acoustic leanings of euphoric, synth-rich club track ‘The Spark’ and electro-house flavoured trap beats with Snoop Dogg on ‘Dynamite’, Afrojack showcases his esteemed production credentials to the max. The softer notes and soundscape-like composition on ‘Mexico’, featuring a stunning vocal from Shirazi, is also a highlight and one that contrasts perfectly with the harder, club-centric sound of his rip-roaring ‘Do Or Die’ remix.

Demonstrating remarkable versatility and also a real willingness to tread his own path through contemporary dance music, Afrojack’s ‘Forget The World’ EP is an exciting introduction to the sounds that will ultimately define his landmark first album.
