Boris Way returns to Ultra Records for ‘Uber On Call’

French selector Boris Way lands on Ultra Records once again after the success of his recent release on the famed label alongside Jaimes in ‘I Will Wait’. Tapping into the melodic zeitgeist once again, ‘Uber On Call’ is a seamless marrying of tech-house energy with melodic-techno atmosphere.

Built around a sassy and intoxicating spoken topline, this 128 BPM club banger is a style-blending must-play for a wide range of DJs. With underground bite yet accessible appeal, this credible, floor-focused weapon is built to deliver peak-time energy across any set this festival season. Blending elements of various aspects of Boris’ sonic profile, ‘Uber On Call’ is an all-encapsulating look at the style and influences of the French DJ/producers skillset. After overwhelming support on a teaser post on Boris’ socials, Ultra Records have picked up the track and aim to create the same buzz as they did with ‘I Will Wait’ – and with the track currently sat at #13 on 1001 Tracklist’s Trending Chart, thanks to early support from the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Korolova, ALOK, R3HAB, Nicole Moudaber, Lucas & Steve, Don Diablo, Agents of Time, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto and more – the track is definitely on the right track!

“I can’t remember the last time I felt this level of excitement about a release. ‘Uber on Call’ feels incredibly special to me — it really captures the new direction I’m heading in as an artist. Playing live DJ sets has always been the heart of what I do, and I wanted to create a track that not only hits hard during peak time in my sets, but also resonates across the DJ community. Sitting somewhere between tech-house and melodic techno, the concept for ‘Uber on Call’ was to pair a sassy spoken-word topline with a hard-hitting instrumental. I’m genuinely thrilled with how it came together — now it’s time to see how it lands in the booth!”Boris on his new release, ‘Uber On Call’

Some years on from the success of ‘Pink Soldiers’ and ‘Kings & Queens’, Boris Way has gone from strength to strength in the scene. Previously supported by David Guetta, Meduza, Tiësto, Benny Benassi, Sidepiece and many more, Boris has built up a steady list of backers with his unique blend of dance pop, tech house and, in more recent times, melodic techno, where Boris is exploring the deeper depths of dance music – further expanding his reaches within production. This deeper, more emotive sound is on full display with his recent releases like ‘Lose My Mind’, ‘The Fall’ and most recently ‘I Will Wait’ alongside Dutch topliner Jaimes.
