The final scroll is unveiled!

Emerging from Scrollz of Lion Rock, “Word Iz Bond” serves as the third and final transmission as the complete manuscript is unveiled on Juneteenth. Ras Ceylon’s 9th studio album, Scrollz of Lion Rock is co-directed by Timbo King and executive produced by Oli “Power” Grant (Wu-Tang Brand).

Produced by Ras’ longtime creative collaborator Dawit Justice, architect of the Full Medal Jacket EP with Tragedy Khadafi and the Jacket FuLLa Medalz LP with Timbo King, the record unites Ras Ceylon, Cappadonna, and Timbo King in a cipher of oath keepers, storytellers and witnesses to the times. Across a backdrop of cinematic drums and soul-drenched textures, the three travelers exchange living scriptures on loyalty, integrity and the unseen covenant carried within a spoken word.

The song’s title emerges from Timbo King’s refrain, “Popa Wu voice”—an invocation of his uncle, the late, great Popa Wu aka FreeDum Allah, widely regarded as the spiritual father of the Wu-Tang Clan and a respected elder within the Nation of Gods & Earths. More than a tribute, the phrase serves as a call to remembrance, echoing the wisdom, discipline and spiritual teachings that helped shape generations within the Wu universe.

From Cali to Brooklyn, Shaolin and beyond, “Word Iz Bond” follows the path of wisdom keepers and torchbearers carrying sacred lessons from one generation to the next. A reminder that before contracts, before algorithms, before kingdoms rise and fall, there was one’s word. A sacred bond. A promise carried through generations.

Filmed in Los Angeles by Jeremy Mack, with additional filming and editing by Hostage Media in Brooklyn, New York, the visual follows the unfolding Scrollz narrative while featuring special cameos from Prodigal Sunn of Sunz of Man and Free Murda (FreeDum Allah Jr.), son of Popa Wu himself. Together these appearances extend the lineage throughout the Scrollz of Lion Rock manuscript.

As SCROLL III emerges, the path begun with “BuzzSaw” and illuminated through “Duality” reaches its destination. This final scroll pays homage not only to the spiritual traditions that helped shape Hip-Hop Culture, but to the enduring power of truth, honor and the sacred word.

Produced and mixed by legendary Wu-Tang Clan architect Mathematics, “Duality” finds Ras Ceylon and Timbo King navigating the tension between opposing forces: spirit and flesh, war and peace, darkness and light, the seen and unseen. Built upon Mathematics’ signature sonic alchemy, the record serves as a meditation on balance, contradiction, and the eternal struggle to harmonize the many selves we carry within.

Through vivid storytelling, Ras Ceylon’s verse explores the complexities of modern life, temptation, and transformation, while Timbo King offers words of righteous guidance and hard-earned wisdom. Together, the two voices embody the very duality at the heart of the song—experience and reflection, struggle and elevation.

Filmed at the Roots N Culture Shop inside Haven PDX in Portland, Oregon, the accompanying visual expands upon the transmission through a series of symbolic encounters and dreamlike imagery. Throughout the film, feminine archetypes emerge as sacred mirrors along the journey—representing creation, compassion, and transformation. Their presence weaves through the narrative as a reminder that duality is not conflict alone, but the dance of complementary forces seeking harmony.

SCROLL I — “BuzzSaw”

Ras Ceylon unveils “BuzzSaw,” the first visual and sonic transmission from Scrollz of Lion Rock — his forthcoming ninth album, co-directed by Timbo King and executive produced by the late Oliver “Power” Grant. Produced by 9th Prince of Killarmy, the track brings together Ras Ceylon, 9th Prince, and Timbo King in a hard-edged opening statement rooted deeply in the Wu-Tang Killa Beez lineage.

Originally released as an audio single in June 2025, “BuzzSaw” peaked at #2 on the HipHopGods charts and signaled the beginning of a new chapter in the Scrollz of Lion Rock saga. The record features an intro by Bobo David and an outro by Bobo Smith of Sizzla’s Judgement Yard, with mixing and mastering handled by Xarina for Studio X.

The official video, shot and edited by Hostage Media, was filmed at “The Wall” in Park Hill, Shaolin — the historic Wu-Tang District. Captured on the day of Oliver “PoWer” Grant’s homegoing services, the visual — along with the Scrollz of Lion Rock album itself — is livicated to his loving memory. A foundational architect behind the movement, Power’s presence and influence remain deeply embedded throughout the project, which stands among his final executive productions in the physical realm.

Co-directed by Timbo King—who appears throughout the album as a recurring guest presence—Scrollz of Lion Rock features Wu-Tang Clan family Cappadonna, Prodigal Sunn, 9th Prince, and Solomon Childs, alongside acclaimed MCs Ras Kass and Planet Asia—voices woven seamlessly into the album’s narrative, functioning as extensions of a shared militant and lyrical tradition rather than conventional features. Executive produced by Oliver “Power” Grant & shaped through A&R direction by Matthew “M80” Markoff (Holy Toledo Productions), the project stands as a cohesive, long-form statement rooted in legacy, lyricism, and militant Hip-Hop tradition.

The album is also livicated to the loving memory of Oliver “Power” Grant.

Through this album, Ras Ceylon carries forward a disciplined, socially conscious Hip Hop ethos while expanding its reach across coasts, generations, and cultures, adding a vital new chapter to that legacy. Rooted in boom-bap fundamentals and sharpened by present-day urgency, the album confronts themes of power, resistance, survival, and cultural memory with precision and weight. Tracks such as “DisInfoAge”, “Free The World”, and “Ancestorz” reflect the project’s political clarity and enduring relevance. The album’s title, intro, and cover art draw from Sigiriya (Lion Rock)—an ancient Sri Lankan rock fortress symbolizing strength, endurance, and inherited knowledge—framing the record as both historical reflection and contemporary statement.

Sonically, the album is highlighted by DJ Allah Mathematics, longtime DJ and creator of the iconic Wu “W” logo, whose involvement lends the project both musical authority and symbolic lineage. Additional production from Cruise, Dawit Justice, and HBK’s AkaFrank forms a raw, cohesive soundscape rooted in authentic Hip Hop textures. Scrollz of Lion Rock stands as a focused, culturally resonant release built for legacy and collector permanence.

Bleach is a song that speaks for itself. The track exposes the “world revolves around me” attitude, an attitude where there’s a lack of empathy, and hedonism pushed to grotesque extremes. Bleach is a nauseated witness to a culture of hyper-capitalist hustle ideologies spread to online spaces that reward narcissism and spectacle.

Through tongue-in-cheek lyricism and its satirical attitude, the track dismantles a growing cultural mindset: a world where success is measured purely by wealth, status, and dominance, and empathy is treated as weakness.

The chorus captures this best – ‘money or death, success comes first’ – there are no nuances to life other than how much money you have and what your social status is.

Bleach explores when this ideology is taken too far. The duo step into the voice of this character to expose its absurdity – the public figure who thrives on power, the artist who separates persona from morality.

The production leans into discomfort: harsh, synthetic drums that feel deliberately “plastic”, clashing textures, and a fusion of real guitars with cold electronic elements.  Nothing about it is supposed to be nice or easy on the ear, it’s supposed to express shared anger.

The accompanying music video, shot in stark black and white, amplifies this atmosphere. There is no grey area, no nuance, it’s just black and white – there are winners and there are losers.

Songwriter Mischa said:

“Bleach captures a mindset that feels increasingly unavoidable. I think we all know people like this and have been affected personally by selfish self-serving people, whether it’s an ignorant manager at work or the corrupt politicians and billionaire corporations at the top, orchestrating their master plans for optimal profit.

The track came together with unusual immediacy while I was on a bus going to work, feeling very angry. I could hear what the bassline was gonna be and I already knew the first verse, and how the toms and bass were going to interact already. It was just a matter of getting home and recording it.”

Bleach sets the tone for EP True Colours, a project that explores facade and doesn’t hold back.

With upcoming performances at renowned festivals Forbidden Fruit and Beyond The Pale, mischa and the bear are stepping out from behind the screen and into physical spaces for the first time.

Following record-breaking cold temperatures that caused the lake to freeze at a rare level, MISHA seized the opportunity to create something unforgettable—a full-scale set performed directly on the ice, surrounded by a cinematic winter landscape, directed and produced by Michelle Gorkunberg.

“HOMESTAGE is deeply personal to me—it’s a tribute to Toronto, the city that opened doors not just for myself, but for so many artists. There’s a certain energy here that’s shaped global electronic music in a powerful way. This set was intentionally curated to reflect that, featuring artists and sounds that are rooted in Toronto’s influence.”

But what makes this moment even more powerful is how close it came to never happening at all. “This wasn’t just about doing something different,” MISHA shares. “It was about creating something that only nature could allow—and knowing it might never happen again.”

An earlier attempt to bring the concept—aptly named HOMESTAGE—to life was shut down by intense blizzard conditions. The team was forced to walk away, documenting the failed attempt as the storm rolled in. Instead of abandoning the vision, MISHA, alongside Cinematographer Tomer Sviridov, Camera Operator Ethan Shaw & Chris Savage, Drone and FPV Joshua James McDonald & Christina Ienna,  came back stronger—rebuilding, reimagining, and ultimately capturing the performance in stunning detail.

The entire experience has been documented, resulting in a visually striking release that blends music, storytelling, and raw environmental elements. HOMESTAGE stands as a defining creative milestone—bringing together MISHA’s background in photography, videography, electronic music, and global touring into one unforgettable moment.

While MISHA is quickly gaining recognition as an artist in his own right, his impact behind the scenes is just as significant. He has worked closely with global acts including David Guetta and OneRepublic, and currently serves as Creative Director for MORTEN, contributing to major tours, visuals, and releases around the world.

This release arrives during a major wave of momentum, with upcoming international performances across Asia and Europe, and new music on the horizon—including collaborations and releases with Beat Drop Records.

With HOMESTAGE, MISHA isn’t just releasing a performance—he’s capturing a moment that may never happen again.
