Heading up the bill is a man who has been making noise within London’s vibrant underground culture, proving himself as an excellent DJ, producer and boss of two labels.
Bobby (formerly Bobby Pleasure) is one of the scene’s busiest players, constantly diving into new projects, such as his latest venture - joining the Fabric family as one of their latest resident DJs. When Bobby isn’t creating waves within the DJ circuit, he is the host of label and promoter, Pleasure Club as well as founding Needs. The latter is a non profit collective, event series & record label which uses music as a medium to spread love, unity and the idea of giving back. Expect a seamless blend of music from all corners the electronic spectrum, delivered with infectious energy.
Get On Up’s long-serving resident and head honcho, Joel has played dance floors all over London, from XOYO to Bar 90 to a regular soul slot at Blues Kitchen. He blends disco and funk with music from Africa, Latin America and the Far East, interlaced with modern electronic genres like House, UK Garage and Techno. We expect a genre-spanning set as he warms us up for Bobby.
Influenced by the raw and experimental days of early dance, Don’t Crash residents and radio hosts, Voyconn focus on exhibiting leftfield and underground sounds for the dancefloor and beyond.
Come down for a dance on Easter Thursday for a great cause!
