Fatboy Slim at L’Abarset: the return of the legend

Since David Squillace opened the season last November, L’Abarset has not stopped scheduling the most influential and in-demand artists: Maceo Plex, Mëstiza, Âme, Francisco Allendes, Pauza, Oscar L, Vidaloca, Viviana Casanova, De La Swing, Chus and Dennis Cruz, to name a few.

An impressive list that will add one of the most important legends in music to it: Fatboy Slim. After more than four decades behind the decks, no dance floor can resist the unstoppable funky breakbeats, catchy melodies and riffs fused with rock-dance that the English artist creates. His sets on the beach in Brighton in the early ’00s quickly became legendary and there’s no reason why his sets in the snow at L’Abarset won’t follow the same path. They are a must for all electronic lovers this winter.

And this is not the only news. We already know who the guest will be for the last Brunch! Elecronik of the season, held on March 14: Miss Monique. The Ukrainian DJ and producer is one of the latest phenomena on the electronic scene thanks to her impressive ability and versatility to move between genres and sounds. Furthermore, performances from Paco Osuna (sold out), Andrea Oliva, Marco Faraone, Mason Collective, Anna Tur, Melanie Ribbe, Edu Imbernon and Los Suruba are still to come. The Après-ski venue is also expected to reveal some more surprises that it has in store before closing the current season.

L’Abarset is having an incredible season, as demonstrated by the excellent reception that both its artistic proposal and versatile and conceptual culinary approach have had among the public. 25,000 people have attended the Andorran Après-ski so far this season and this number is expected to double before the end of winter.

It is an overwhelming success to which the Saturday programming and special parties with international brands (Brunch Electronik! and BRESH) have especially contributed. These dates have quickly become the most in-demand dates of the year, with most of them selling out. And of course, the After Party has returned stronger than ever. Its approach, which includes an exclusive interior club divided into several sections, has been one of the biggest successes of L’Abarset. Out of the 10 dates After Party scheduled for this winter, the first two have sold out, an indication of the magic which is sure to continue.

L’Abarset

For another season, L’Abarset is preparing to be “The Peak of Après-ski” by merging leisure, music, gastronomy, architecture, and landscape with a unique, extensive, and highly eclectic approach.

Building on the changes introduced last year — expanding the lineup with top-tier DJs and enhancing the gastronomy with an afternoon menu of tapas and cocktails — L’Abarset has unveiled a revamped menu this season which still serves some of its most iconic dishes. Additionally, for the second consecutive season but with a new schedule, the Goiko food truck will serve gourmet burgers.

Since last year, L’Abarset has taken a significant step forward in its après-ski proposal with the creation of the “After Party”. This club format is held on select Saturdays throughout the season with limited capacity inside the venue, which keeps attendees dancing until 2 AM.

If in recent years it has already established itself as an absolute reference for the European winter season, now it aims to go even further, becoming more timeless and perfecting every detail of its approach.

Set in a dreamlike architectural framework with high-quality design, its aim is clear: to make Andorra a top destination for everyone, whether local, national, or international.
