Huxley ‘No Idea’s Original’ label showcase…

Huxley presents an exclusive showcase for his new label, No Idea’s Original, at The Nest on Saturday 12th March.

Having blown up in 2012 with standout 12”s for Hypercolour and 2020 Vision, Huxley’s sound has continued to evolve as the producer flirts with mutated house and techno influences as well as his hallmark staples.

No Idea’s Original, his new label launched in December last year, is Huxley’s first solo foray in the world of labels. On the label name, the Aus Music artist is explicit:

‘it’s called No Idea’s Original because I kept getting asked for ‘concepts’ for things and found it exasperating. Everything has to have an 'original concept’ these days, or so people in the music industry will tell you, and it’s bollocks – not least because no idea is original these days. Just putting music out or doing parties because you want to and are passionate should be enough’ .

Joining him on the bill on Saturday 12th March are Chesus (aka Earl Jeffers) and Pierre Codarin, whose own 12” will be released in on No Idea’s Original in April.

Entry: £5/ £7 /£10 advance tickets
Time: 10pm – 4am
