The Writers Block – Don’t Look Any Further (Logistics Remix)

Having amassed thousands and thousands of plays on Soundcloud and having been premiered on MistaJam’s coveted BBC Radio 1 show, the Logistics remix of The Writer’s Block ‘Don’t Look Any Further’ has finally arrived. Now available to stream in full, this hard-hitting remix will be released on December 14th via Ultra Records / Sony Music.

In the space of just four years, The Writers Block (TWB), born out of a collaboration of the individual styles of Detox, Kam and Haile, has garnered support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra and Capital Xtra to name but a few. The trio is now set to build on this initial success with the help of Ultra Records and Sony Music, who were quick to sign the group earlier this year after the online buzz surrounding their tracks reached fever pitch. Their debut single ‘Don’t Look Any Further’, which is scheduled for release on December 14th, has already hit #1 in the Music Week Club Chart and #5 in the Music Week Commercial Chart.

With remixes already in from Wankelmut and Endor, the baton has now been passed to Logistics, who adds a further dimension to the track, transforming it into a drum and bass epic. By injecting it with a large shot of adrenaline, Matt Gresham (Logistics) has given the track a new energy, treating us to an eclectic mix of excitable synths, a deep bass line and fast paced drums.

With support now coming from artists like DJ Nino (UKF), DJ Phantasy, My Nu Leng, High Contrast, Artificial Intelligence and REDS, this remix is set to become a firm favourite in the sets of drum and bass DJs for some time to come.
