15 Years Of VANDIT Records

BERLIN, GERMANY: VANDIT RECORDS ANNOUNCES PLANS TO COMMEMORATE A DECADE & A HALF OF LABEL OPERATIONS // ‘THE BEST OF VANDIT RECORDS’ COMPILATION TO BE RELEASED APRIL 29TH, INCLUDING MUSIC FROM PAUL VAN DYK, ARMIN VAN BUUREN, TIESTO, GARETH EMERY, LANGE, GIUSEPPE OTTAVIANI, ALEX M.O.R.P.H. + MANY MORE // 15 YEARS LABEL CLUB TOUR, VANDIT REMIX EPS AND MORE ONE-OFF EVENTS ALL PLANNED

2015 sees VANDIT Records – the label intrinsic of producer, DJ and electronic music bastion Paul van Dyk – reach its milestone 15th year. Over the next 9 months, the label will bring fans a run of special singles, EPs, albums & music compilations. Additionally, Berlin’s finest will be celebrating with a 15 Years club tour and other #VANDIT15 focused happenings to mark its decade & a half at the forefront of club & electronic music culture.

Since the label’s launch, VANDIT’s fanbase has grown exponentially through its music releases, which in turn have played a major part in creating and shaping generation-trance. Now, through #VANDIT15, fans of one of the world’s 10 best-selling trance labels (source: beatstats) will have the chance to re-live some of the imprint’s numerous highs, both in-club and at home.

The first happening in the 15 Years calendar will be the release of ‘The Best Of VANDIT’ – a music compilation containing tracks from a galaxy of studio luminaries.

Featuring a number of big-name pairings, it includes Lange & Gareth Emery’s game changing ‘Another You, Another Me’. If that’s not quite big enough, well how about ‘Eternity’ from Alibi – the first of only two times Dutch giants Armin van Buuren & Tiësto recorded together! There’s also evergreen trance eminence like ‘Synaesthesia’ from The Thrillseekers, Ralphie B’s title-says-it-all ‘Massive’, Nu NRG’s spellbinding ‘Dreamland’ and Jam & Spoon’s Love Parade classic ‘Be.Angeled’. If for any reason you’ve never heard Jose Amnesia’s ‘The Eternal’, Kuffdam & Plant’s ‘Summer Dream’ or ‘POD3’ collaborator FKN’s ‘Why’, well 1) for shame! and 2) auditory redemption is very close at hand!

Artists who have VANDIT hardwired into their careers are just as well represented. It wouldn’t — COULDN’T — be a ‘Best Of VANDIT’ without Alex M.O.R.P.H.’s ‘Sunset Boulevard’ or Giuseppe Ottaviani’s ‘Linking People’! There’s also PvD’s 2009 master-blasting rework of ‘For An Angel’ – a track that was hailed as the 8th greatest dance release of all time by Mixmag 20 years after it was first recorded.

‘The Best Of VANDIT Records’ is just the beginning of an exciting run of events through the end of 2015. This summer will see a not-to-be-missed VANDIT club tour, featuring stars of the label’s past and present, all paying service to the estimable catalog. VANDIT will also have a wide range of producers and also take a look, through fresh remix eyes,at many of the tracks that have come to be synonymous with the label. Get ready to revisit some truly timeless music in the best possible way with #VANDIT15 – it all starts now!
