18th edition Awakenings Festival warm and successful

The two-day Awakenings Festival has just come to an end. More than 80,000 techno enthusiasts enjoyed the festival and the tropical temperatures over two days. Awakenings Festival – despite the heat – went without any notable incidents.

The organization speaks of a successful techno weekend, “The 18th edition saw 40,000 visitors a day and more than 100 artists spread across 8 areas. Thank you to every one who attended. It was an unforgettable weekend and we look forward to the next Awakenings on the 29th and 30th of June 2019”.

This year, the Awakenings Festival was broadcasted live for the first time via all Awakenings channels. More than 3 million people from around the world tuned in to the live stream and all sets will be available in 4K later after.
 
The true Awakenings fan can enjoy the next editions during Amsterdam Dance Event, with a whopping seven techno events to be held in the Gashouder, Amsterdam.
