1tbsp is an alternative house project from Australian Grammy Award Nominated artist Maxwell Byrne (aka Golden Vessel), which has a sound that is constantly changing and evolving, as he explores elements of house, indie-dance, hyper-pop and reggaeton, resulting in a sound that can be likened to a mix between ROSALÍA, Mura Masa and Jamie xx.
Maxwell has spent the summer diligently working on his sophomore 1tbsp album, “Megacity1000”, which is scheduled for release in August. This week he is giving us the first taste of what we can expect from that album with the release of ‘Starchitect’, an invigorating indie-dance track with explosive alternative-Reggaeton influences.
1tbsp also has a few UK shows happening in May and he’s also just announced he’ll be playing at Elsewhere in New York City in August which also comes with promise of more North American dates being announced very soon – see dates below then click here for tickets
