Truth Be Told - 43 EP (inc. Jacky (UK) & Vibe Killers Remixes)

Liverpudlian duo Truth Be Told return to Max Chapman’s Resonance Records this April with two energy fuelled productions on their ’43’ EP, with rising star Jacky (UK) and house veterans Vibe Killers on remix duties.

After debuting the scene in 2013 with their ‘Too Much Time’ EP, the pairing received notable support from artists ranging the likes of Richie Hawtin, Josh Butler and Bontan. Since then the two have continued to impress with releases on Roush, AVOTRE and Freche Fruchte whilst gaining support worldwide from Jamie Jones, Darius Syrossian, Rich Wakely and Amnesia’s very own Mar-T.

‘43’ kicks off proceedings with a combination of heavy-hitting percussion and engaging rhythm, before Vibe Killers add their touch to the record, distorting the infectious vocal as a new lead line works its magic. ‘What About’ is a return to TBT’s original productions, generating driving builds out of melodic breaks to unleash a moody groove upon the listener. Lastly, Jacky (UK) steps up to deliver an impressive remix of ‘What About’, stripping back the original to unveil an atmospheric alternative.
