Thailand’s 808 Festival is back for a fifth fantastic year in 2017, so expect it to be bigger and better than ever. Famous for its huge names from across the dance spectrum, it is a real powerhouse event and this year takes place on December 9th and 10th at Bangkok’s Oasis Arena.
The first wave of acts announced include Above & Beyond, Flosstradamus, Ghastly and Kayzo, with a huge second phase to come that will mix up house, techno, bass and EDM heavyweights to make sure there is something for all music lovers.
Offering up a fine balance of underground and more mainstream headliners, the likes of Jack U and Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones, Sharam and Claude von Stroke all played over previous years so expect more of the same in 2018. The venue for all this is Oasis Arena at Show DC, a place for visually spectacular events with immersive light and sound on a grand scale.
Says executive producer Arsit Prachaseri, “We bring together the biggest and best talent from across the globe for what is one of Thailands showcase electronic music events. Each year 808 Festival keeps growing and bringing ever more exciting acts to the region before anyone else.”
The stage is set then for another all encompassing and forward looking festival that offers an experience like no other in the whole of Thailand.
