John Digweed Delivers 4-Disc Compilation “Quattro Artists”

Making a monumental return, highly-regarded DJ and producer John Digweed is back with Bedrock Records’ third iteration of the 4-disc album compilation “Quattro”. Continuing the format of his previous compilations, John Digweed has cherry-picked some of the imprints’ most talented producers in an effort to deliver an exclusive blend of original, genre-bending tracks from the likes of Tokyo’s unique deep house and techno producer Satoshi Fumi, sci-fi techno Spanish duo Lopezhouse, Paris-Native house artist Captain Mustache, and techno powerhouse Quivver. Serving as a look into the distinctive sounds of the four artists, each disc showcases Digweed’s knack for curation and track selection. “Quattro Artists” is now available on digital and CD via Bedrock Records.

Marking the end of a jam-packed year of releases for Digweed’s imprint, “Quattro Artists” brings to the forefront some of the label’s most promising talents, giving each artist a platform to expand upon their 2021 contribution to Bedrock Records. Proving Digweed’s expert ear for what’s new in electronic music, the 43-track compilation album takes listeners on a journey through the sounds of Quivver’s mid-October release Revelate, Captain Mustache’s Indigo Memories, Satoshi Fumi’s Mysterious Phenomenon, and Lopezhouse’s Apollo.“Quattro Artists” begins with Quivver’s 10-track LP Revelate, taking listeners into the cinematic experience ahead. Revelate brings forth a raw intensity like no other, with rhythmic, high-energy techno sensibilities, perfect for the late-night dancefloors. Captain Mustache’s love note to Detroit techno, Indigo Memories, follows, showcasing a fusion of dark and light sounds through its expansive electro-production. Rife with heavy synths, dark drums, soft vocals, and warped instrumentation, the offering delivers a transmissible fire and primes fans for the next disc. Satoshi Fumi’s Mysterious Phenomenon combines influences from early 80’s electronic and 90’s house into a modernized and resonant take on deep house, techno, and acid. Rounding out the compilation is Lopezhouse’s 13-tracker Apollo, which features ambient textures and brooding synths, channeling a cathartic ending for both “Quattro Artists” and Bedrock Records’ year of releases.

An unforgettable offering to the world of electronic music, Digweed’s latest release with “Quattro Artists,” serves as a testament to the prowess of the label head and the artists he champions. The 43-track compilation LP expands upon the success of Bedrock Records as one of the world’s most beloved electronic labels. Available now on https://bedrockshop.com, fans can look forward to embarking on a sonic journey through the lens of tastemakers Quivver, Satoshi Fumi, Lopezhouse, and Captain Mustache.
