Camo & Krooked release Red Bull Symphonic – Johann Strauss 2025 Edition live album on 21 November
Following two sold-out nights at the iconic Wiener Konzerthaus in September, the crossover phenomenon Red Bull Symphonic – Johann Strauss 2025 Edition has now been released as a full live album on 21 November 2025, bringing one of the most ambitious productions in drum & bass history from the concert hall to the global stage.
For well over a decade, Camo & Krooked have stood among the most forward-thinking and musically adventurous names in drum & bass. From their era-defining releases on Hospital Records and RAM to the launch of their own label MODUS, the Austrian duo have consistently pushed the genre into new territory. Red Bull Symphonic marks their most daring leap yet: joining forces with renowned composer/arranger Christian Kolonovits and the Wiener Symphoniker to merge the raw energy of D&B with the timeless works of Johann Strauss II.
The concept: channel Strauss classics such as The Blue Danube and Vienna Blood through Camo & Krooked’s unmistakable cinematic bassweight, performed live with a full symphony orchestra.
“After working intensively on the show and receiving such overwhelming feedback, it was immediately clear to us that we wanted to make this available to everyone,” say Camo & Krooked. “The incredibly exciting combination of Strauss’s classical pieces with our drum & bass tracks, the sensational atmosphere at the concerts, and the collaboration with Christian Kolonovits and the Wiener Symphoniker—we wanted to capture all of that. We really hope that fans will enjoy it.”
Alongside the orchestra, the show, now immortalised on the live album, features a roll-call of close collaborators and scene icons including Mefjus, Noisia, Wilkinson, Metrik and John B, with additional performances from Mira Lu Kovacs, EXEA, the Carinthian Drumline and the V.O.I.C.E Choir.
The setlist bridges Strauss essentials with key moments from Camo & Krooked’s catalogue, with live reinterpretations of Aurora, Atlas, Loving You Is Easy and Nebula, as well as exclusive orchestral arrangements that debuted on the night.
Camo & Krooked’s long-standing presence on UKF has played a crucial role in their journey, with their releases and collaborations consistently ranking among the platform’s most celebrated uploads. Recent highlights include a run of joint singles with Mefjus, including Sientelo, U and No Way Out, as well as the new symphonic reworks Persian March (Red Bull Symphonic Edition) and All Night x Éljen a Magyar (Red Bull Symphonic Edition).
