Brini Drops ‘The Way I Move’
Vienna-based multidisciplinary artist BRINI returns with “The Way I Move”, a sun-soaked blend of amapiano, pop and R&B that captures the connection between music, movement and self-expression.
Known for moving between music, dance, and entrepreneurship, BRINI has built a creative world where rhythm extends beyond sound. As co-founder of Vienna Heels, Austria’s largest heels dance community, she has spent years helping people connect with confidence, artistry, and emotional expression through movement. “The Way I Move” brings those same ideas into her music, exploring not only physical movement, but also the way people navigate life, relationships and personal growth.
The track emerged during a period of intense creativity in June 2025, when BRINI set herself the challenge of writing a new song every day from her home studio. Rather than chasing a specific sound or concept, she focused on experimentation and authenticity, allowing ideas to develop naturally. “The Way I Move” was one of those songs.
Written during what she describes as a personal home writing camp, the track arrived organically while she was exploring new musical directions and searching for ideas that felt genuinely connected to who she is as an artist.
“The Way I Move correlates to my dance journey and love for music and movement but also the way you move through life. With /Z – balance in motion, nourishing peace, love and joy. /Z is a place where everybody can belong.”
That philosophy sits at the centre of the release. The “/Z” in Brini /Z represents balance in motion, a higher self, an idea and energy that continues to shape her work across music, dance and community-building. Throughout the track, themes of freedom, confidence, joy and self-expression are woven into a sound that feels equally suited to sunset playlists, dance floors, and everyday moments.
Musically, “The Way I Move” combines the rhythmic pulse of amapiano with pop melodies and smooth R&B influences. Inspired by artists such as Snoh Aalegra, Victoria Monét, Tyla, Disclosure, Michael Jackson, and Janet Jackson, BRINI approaches songwriting through both sound and movement, creating music that feels designed to be experienced physically as much as emotionally.
Alongside its creative message, the release also carries a wider purpose. Proceeds from “The Way I Move” will be donated to ZARA, Austria’s anti-racism organisation and leading organisation against online hate. Through the release, BRINI hopes to highlight and celebrate the influence of Black culture on contemporary music while supporting work that promotes inclusion, education, and equality.
