Lost Desert Drops Four-Track ‘Drift’ EP via All Day I Dream

By Jordan July 2, 2026 2 min read

Longtime label affiliate Lost Desert today returns to All Day I Dream with his newest four-track Drift EP, out now.

Drift moves with the focus and emotional depth that have long defined Lost Desert’s place in the All Day I Dream universe. Across four tracks, the EP unfolds through warm melodic textures and an intimate sense of movement, balancing dancefloor-minded arrangements with the reflective atmosphere at the heart of his catalog.

‘Drift A Little Longer’ opens the EP with lush vocals from Aiola, setting the tone through floating melodies and a slow-burning groove. ‘Aalam Waahid’ follows with a rhythmic pull, deepening the EP’s transportive mood with earthy textures across its rolling eight minutes. On the B-side, Lost Desert enlists Paul Ross for ‘Shooting Stars’, a luminous collaboration shaped by glowing synthwork. The EP closes with Lost Desert’s ‘Beatless Dream Mix’, stripping the track into a weightless, ethereal form.

Between his immersive solo EPs, collaborative Lost Desert & Friends series, and regular appearances on the label’s global lineups, Lost Desert has become a mainstay on All Day I Dream. His first release ‘Lingala’ came in 2016 alongside Lee Burridge and he has remained a longtime resident and collaborator for both Lee and the label. Last year saw Lost Desert release his solo Saudade EP and unite with Lee for November Snowflakes. Already this year, Lost Desert returned as part of the A Winter Sampler VII compilation and joined label showcases in Cape Town, Montenegro, and Barcelona, with an upcoming appearance in Georgia.
