“The idea of “God Given” is based on duality; having two sides that add up to make us who we are, and balancing between them.
Lyrically it’s me layering bars and entendres per usual, but also highlighting how my purpose as an artist has always been about giving a message and servicing the people, but feeding it to you in a hidden manner at times, making it easier to get through to the listener.
Beat wise, when I heard the track it just felt like instant neck break, jeep speaker music, so I wanted to sneak that energy into the message to coincide with the soundscape”
