Jey Kurmis - Jey Kurmis – Bridgett’s EP
‘Bridgett’s EP’ sees Jey Kurmis’ deliver a trio of decadent house cuts on Red Lunar Records with a remix from Class Enemy.
Three releases in, Red Lunar Records bring you ‘Bridgett’s EP’ by Leeds based producer Jey Kurmis. The artist, who has been producing for circa 7 years, has released on the likes of Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records and Hot Creations, whilst also seeing much support from leading names such as Richy Ahmed, Heidi and Jamie Jones. Joining him on the EP is newly formed Manchester duo Class Enemy with a innovative rendition of the final track.
First track ‘Bridgett’s’ stutters with off-kilter jacking rhythms, a growling bassline and trippy reverb, before the arrival of a fidgeting roller by the name of ‘Hodgeheg’. ‘Symmetry’ is then an angular cut where razor sharp metallic synths belie a captivating tune until Class Enemy generate a popping remix with a marching bassline and dizzying percussive dynamics.
Jey Kurmis ‘Bridgett’s EP’ drops on Red Lunar Records on 24th August 2015.
