Combining the intimacy and exhilaration of live music performance, with the hedonism of an all-night party, each edition of Electric Lates is carefully curated by the headliner of the night. This unique concept will include surprise acts, both old and new material from the hand-picked line-up, captivating DJ sets, and spectacular late-night production, offering a brand new take on nightlife in the capital.

 

Kicking off the very first installment is London based post-punk band Warmduscher (live), who released their fourth album ‘At The Hotspot’ in April and a brand new remix EP earlier this week alongside a UK tour announcement, of which this will be the final date. 

 

The unconventional punk rockers will bring their irrepressible, raucous energy to Electric Brixton alongside a stellar live & DJ line-up. Clams, of Warmduscher says:

 

“We’ve finally found the time and place to put on the type of party the way we’ve always wanted to.  One that combines live music and a full-on rave after it.  This night is going to be something else – we promise –  as we have the keys to Brixton Electric till the wee hours in the morning and it’s going to be full on until the sun comes up that is for sure.  

 

These past few years and times we are living in have certainly been bleak so hopefully this will be a time and place to lose sight of that for the moment and enjoy the best in both live and DJ culture that London has to offer.  F**k em all we say! Woo!”

 

On Warmduscher’s impressive live line up are: Brighton punk-rockers, celebrated for their uncompromising and original live show Opus Kink; South London post-punk three-piece POZI, and Josh Caffe. 

 

Fronting the DJ bill is  Primal Scream bassist and celebrated DJ Simone Marie, who appears alongside champions of queer nightlife Jeanie Crystal & Faboo TV Guest Presentations; and rebellious fashion, art and activism brand Sportsbanger with Crime Rave.
