Aashika Reddy Shares Her Debut EP LOOK AT ME

Toronto-based artist Aashika Reddy is making her mark with the release of her debut EP LOOK AT ME. The six-track project plays like a diary, capturing the emotional highs and lows of teenage life — from first crushes and heartbreak to moments of joy, chaos, and self-discovery.

Blending R&B, pop, trap, and house with her South Asian roots, Reddy creates a sound that feels both global and deeply personal. Tracks like Time Machine and 3 Steps feature tabla percussion and melodies inspired by Carnatic vocal runs, reflecting the cultural influences she grew up with. The title track, LOOK AT ME, stands out as a raw and emotional centrepiece with its unforgettable line, “look at me like you look at her.”

For Reddy, this EP is more than music. “This project is bigger than music — it’s a cultural statement,” she says. Her goal is to create a space for brown girls and teenagers everywhere to feel seen, heard, and unapologetically themselves.

Having already performed at venues like TD Music Hall and Nathan Phillips Square and collaborating with Grammy-winning producer Yonatan Watts, Reddy is quickly carving out her place in the global R&B/Pop scene. LOOK AT ME is bold, vulnerable, and authentic — a debut EP that proves she’s a voice worth paying attention to.

LOOK AT ME is available now on all streaming platforms. Stay updated with Aashika Reddy by following her on Instagram @_aashikareddy or visiting her Linktree.
