Respected UK and Ibiza promoters and label ABODE will be celebrating their second birthday at London’s infamous Tobacco Dock this 30th October, in conjunction with LWE.
ABODE first became well known for its residency at Studio 338, the Greenwich venue that sadly burned down earlier this month – their weekender Sunday beach party was the last event to be held at the club. Studio 338 are offering full support to ABODE whilst they rebuild, and LWE have very kindly helped with the venue. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go towards Tomukas ‘Tomas’ Ceidukasi’s family – the Studio 338 venue staff member who was sadly killed in the blaze.
The lineup for the event is still to be announced, but previous parties have attracted the likes of Jackmaster, Nic Fanciulli, Patrick Topping, wAFF and Yousef, whilst ABODE’s family of trusted residents – Ellie Cocks, GW Harrison, Jimmy Switch – will be sure to provide the highest quality house and techno that the brand has become associated with.
With the unfortunate end to Studio 338, ABODE’s 2nd Birthday at the Tobacco Dock is an example of London promoters pulling together to ensure that the parties continue, even if the venues must change.
