Having notched supports from Groove Armada, Oliver Heldens, Mark Knight and Shiba San, Australia’s exciting new housecat Jordan Brunt, aka Acaddamy, is well poised to release his first single for 2015, ‘I’ve Been Waiting.’
Acaddamy’s lo-slung, garage-infused house sits somewhere between the deft sounds of IDMA’s No. 1 Underground label DIRTYBIRD and the emerging sounds of CUFF.
The track’s anthemic vocals slice their way through layers of thumping percussion and pristine production, while its deep warbling bass will make you hunger for the nearest dancefloor.
Acaddamy will be kicking off a thirteen-date national Aussie tour this weekend in Sydney, before moving on to most capital cities, with a few stop-over’s in between.
‘I’ve Been Waiting’ will be available through iTunes on April 17 with thanks to etcetc music, and will be followed by remixes from Jack Ward, Jason Burns and Lyndonn Kidd.
