These mainstays have played all over Europe,’s finest clubs and festivals, run their own Lapsus Music label and serve up a steady stream of top EPs. Their grooves are dynamic and well-designed, with plenty of percussive flair and synths that bring the soul.
‘Purple Jude’ is another example of that. It’s built on chunky, muscular drum funk with chord stabs adding extra energy and big vocals bursting out of the mix. Add in some steamy sax and a playful, summery breakdown and you have the sort of organic tune that is perfect for open-air dancing.
