Rapper Ace Rose, who was reared in Los Angeles but was born in Europe, has released a new song titled “Go For Broke.” Ikon Media produced an ambitious video shot to go along with the song.
His goal is to combine the elements of rock with hip-hop, drawing inspiration from artists such as Lil Wayne and Eminem. This can be heard on his most recent release, which combines straightforward songwriting with gritty sound.
“Go for Broke” is an honest account of willpower. The music video immerses audiences in Ace Rose’s world with its snappy sounds and hardy imagery, highlighting his unwavering resolve to overcome adversity and follow his ambitions courageously.
Speaking on the release, Ace Rose shares, “I started with the melodic idea of the chorus, and then in fleshing out the song, the themes unveiled themselves to me lyrically. I ended up with a song that was an internal message to myself. Going for something and having to sacrifice people and situations because they were holding me back.”
