Festival season may be winding to a close in most parts of the world, but that only means the clubs are getting hotter during the winter season. To kick off your next night out, proven party-starter Henrix is back with a bomb remix of a classic house track. He has remixed David Tort’s “Acid” in collaboration with Digital Lab, keeping the vigorous tempo and vocal rip of the original while adding his signature powerful basslines and electro drops. With pounding beats and synths that will positively detonate a crowd, Their version of the track will bring the heat to any club crowd looking to get their feet moving. If it sounds familiar, that’s because the remix seems to draws influences from Henrix’s track “Acid Rave Sex,” which Henrix released back in May. “ARS” was a defiant proclamation of rave culture’s resiliency against authority’s attempts to shut it down over the years, and immediately became a cultural anthem. “Acid” is the perfect follow-up to the legacy of “ARS.”
The Miami producer never seems to slow down; hot off the release of his “Raverz” EP with Adrian Meszi, Henrix is already back in the studio to work on more fresh releases and collaborations. Digital Lab just released his hot single “Work It” before teaming up with Henrix for their newest remix. Henrix & Digital Labs choice of David Tort’s euro-house “Acid” to remix is another testament to Henrix’s musical taste and versatility. David Tort has become a household name in the European club scene over the past fifteen years, and for good reason. He is well regarded for lending a touch of Spanish flair to his remixes and loved for his marathon live sets, creating a musical identity that has enamored clubbers and industry critics alike. He calls Space Miami his second home and has performed everywhere from prestigious festivals such as Tomorrowland to private parties at the Playboy Mansion. Henrix has yet again aced the art of remastering an already bomb track and making it uniquely his own. With the integrity of the original track and a serious dose of electro, it’s no surprise “Acid” is one crazy trip!
