Solardo make their debut on Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records in a pair of rolling cuts with the label founders on remix duties.
The UK duo’s rise has been enviable to say the least, dropping releases on Skream’s Of Unsound Mind, Resonance Records, VIVa, Madtech and Chase & Status’ MTA Records this year alone. Solardo now arrive on Lost Records, an imprint home to the recent output of Kevin Knapp & Sacha Robotti, Wade, Hauswerks, Montel and Mat.Joe.
In ‘Acid Jump’ rumbling bass and remorseless drones join infectious drum rolls and stuttering vocal samples, before the more percussive ‘Concentrate’ delivers a cavernous low-end and penetrating rave stabs. Concluding matters, Leftwing & Kody’s remix of ‘Acid Jump’ ups the tempo whilst incorporating an inimitable energy best done by the Lost founders.
Solardo ‘Acid Jump EP’ drops on Lost Records on 13th May 2016.
