On April 27th the fourth edition of Oranjebloesem Festival will take place in Amsterdam during Kingsday. For three years in a row Oranjebloesem has been the perfect alternative on this national holiday, by distancing itself from Amsterdam’s crowded city centre. This year the festival offers a great line-up of live acts alongside the customary underground electronic programme.
Oranjebloesem will be held at Amsterdam’s city beach Blijburg, where 4 stages will offer an amazing line-up, providing the perfect balance between the world’s best DJs and most thrilling live acts.
One of the stages will exclusively showcase live acts. Amongst many others, Jungle by Night (NL) and African cult band Ata Kak will be performing their own signature sound. KiNK and Âme, #1 and #4 ‘electronic live act’ according to Resident Advisor, are the ultimate headliners of the day.
“Live acts complete the experience and make the visitors’ experience even more intense. That’s why we’ve chosen to dedicate an entire stage to national and international live acts” – Oranjebloesem Organisation
Further acts include Bicep (#8 of Resident Advisor’s DJ top 100), Optimo, Extrawelt, Kiasmos and Michael Mayer, and familiar Dutch names like Dekmantel Soundsystem, Tsepo and Beesmunt Soundsystem.
Tickets will be available from February 9th at: www.oranjebloesem.com
