AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT: 10 YEARS OF DAVE CLARKE PRESENTS
Now in its 19th year, the annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has grown to become the world’s biggest club festival and a melting pot for industry heads and music lovers alike. A five-day fiesta of business and beats, ADE’s schedule of music, art, film and tech-related conference events is topped each night by a club programme boasting the good and the great of the electronic music world. At the forefront of this programme for the last decade has been The Baron of Techno, Dave Clarke, and his eponymous club night ‘Dave Clarke Presents’.

Touching down on Friday October 17th at Amsterdam’s famous Melkweg venue for the 10th successive year, Clarke leads an all-star showcase that represents both the old and new guard of electronic music. Topping the bill are US veterans Green Velvet and Stacey Pullen, whose role in the evolution of techno and house is undisputed and one that resonates worldwide. Flying the flag for the UK are scene heroes Ben Sims and Gary Beck, with a very special set from Mute Records founder and electronic pioneer Daniel Miller.

Pfirter is a producer who has established himself as one of South America’s top techno exports with releases on the likes of Chris Liebing’s CLR Records, whilst Scottish duo Clouds are leading the charge in a new breed of tastemakers bringing fresh grit to the techno sound. Adding some homegrown weight to an already obese line-up is Clarke’s production partner Mr Jones, plus ‘Dave Clarke Presents’ residents Estroe, Jeff Rushin and Nicole Rosie.

Already a total sell-out, the event will be broadcast live on DI Radio – http://www.di.fm/ – for anyone who isn’t lucky enough to be there. Guests will also have the chance to win a limited edition designed bottle of Genever, with all proceeds from the competition going to charity.

Additionally, place your ears to the ground for an _Unsubscribe_ remix of DJ Hell’s ‘Let No Man Jack’, forthcoming on Hell’s International Deejay Gigolos imprint, and keep your eyes peeled for an exclusive Dave Clarke podcast coming soon
