Swiss DJ/production duo Adriatique will start their own label next month named SIAMESE.
Although it is first and foremost a music label, the duo envision SIAMESE opening up to a broad variety of arts, providing a home for boundary-pushing creatives of various genres. The pair plan to hold events that will channel this ethos, promising much more than a classic label night. The first musical offering on SIAMESE will be a new EP from Adriatique, Patterns Of Eternity, due for release in October.
SIAMESE is a result of the duo’s years of experience working together, a mutual love of art of all kinds, and the desire to share their passion with others; the project is a shared dream for them both. It’s the culmination of all that Adriatique have achieved in the 8 years since they met in a dusty DJ booth in southern Germany.
Since then, Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer have released on Diynamic, Cityfox, Wolf & Lamb and Culprit. Their deep, dark and melodic sound has seen them become internationally in-demand touring DJs; regulars on the Ibiza and German circuit, they also frequently tour throughout Europe, North and South America and further afield. Their remix of Stephan Bodzin and Marc Romboy’s ‘Atlas’ kept them at the #1 Beatport spot for much of this summer season, whilst their hard work has earned them a regular spot in the Resident Advisor top 100 for the past three years running.
Patterns of Eternity will be available via SIAMESE this October
