Family in name, family indeed in nature, here at VANDIT we couldn’t stop our artists teaming up even if we wanted too! The latest pair to feel that old studio gravitation are Scottish savant Jardin and German firestarter Frank Dueffel.
This year alone Jardin’s pushed through with ‘Redline’, as well as serving that floor-wow remix of PvD & James Cottle’s ‘Vortex. Frank’s been equally diligent in delivering unto clubs, with his own ‘Wherever You Are’ and Curtis Young’ collab ‘The Cartel’. Now together they’ve combined forces, for something we wager is even greater than the sum of its parts. Welcome to the nothing-short-of-heavenly ‘Afterlife’!
The track weighs in heavy frontend, feeding a fusillade of kick-drums, infectious percussive loops and irresistibly danceable bass into its system. Curling 303 lines keep the pressure building, while the pair cannily offset with contrastingly hallowed sub-melodies. Foretelling a melodic drop of epically wonderful proportions, as the snares and synths rise again, you absolutely know this one’s going to the skies!
A dazzling combination of Jardin’s fluid, coursing harmonics and Frank’s all-out floor clout, ‘Afterlife’ is available in the here-and-now via Beatport: https://www.beatport.com/release/afterlife/2336877
