Aftermath by Matthias Tanzmann & Black Circle is out now

Moon Harbour label head Mattias Tanzmann rekindles his long-running collaboration with Black Circle on fresh new single ‘Aftermath’.

Tanzmann has turned out a steady stream of tunes in the last couple of years with highlights such as ‘Resilience’ alongside Poker Flat boss Steve Bug in 2021. This is his first outing of the year, but he has been working with Black Circle since 2019 on big tunes like ‘Awakening,’ ‘Masina’ and ‘Runner.’ Black Circle has seen previous success with Beatport no.1 track ‘Journey’ and solo release ‘Inner Tension’ on this label as well a collaboration with Yousef. He is now a core part of the label and alongside Matthias cooks up a real storm here.

‘Aftermath’ is a full flavour, dubbed-out and low slung track. The drums swing like pendulums beneath taught toms as rising synths lift the energy levels. Having locked you in, it eventually bubbles over with fizzing synth lines and a soulful vocal that brings the fire.

This is an epic tech-house rollercoaster destined for big things this summer.
