TJH87 x Roisto - AFTERMOON

Aftermoon is the much anticipated, final instalment from the acclaimed Lost Into The Night EP by in-demand production duo, TJH87, and fellow Finnish rising-star, Roisto. Unlike the EP’s lead NuDisco track Lost Into The Night, Aftermoon showcases an alternative sound from the TJH87 studio – a unique brand of rock-tinged house music that has gained the young duo an army of fans across influential music media and DJs alike. Since 2011, TJH87 (aka Timo Juuti and Hector 87) have had a string of hit releases spanning rocking electro to French house and NuDisco. Tracks such as Break Away Kicks, Deadlock, and Good Life have stormed the airwaves on Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, and into the sets of Steve Aoki, Chuckie, and Luciano to name just a few. With an iTunes #1 under their belt (Finnish Dance Charts), several Hype Machine Top 20s and almost 400,000 plays on Soundcloud, TJH87 are arguably one of the hottest things in Finnish electronic production right now.

Aftermoon is yet another corker of a release that will not disappoint TJH87 fans everywhere. It’s packed full of synths and stabs, a rolling bassline, and guitar riffs that give it an indie-dancefloor flavour. Amongst the robotic vocoder vocals for the electro punch, there’s an elegant French house undertone offering bags of groove.

Timo and Hector have joined forces with Roisto for Aftermoon who they snapped up for their Youth Control label to release his debut EP in early 2015, which gained support far and wide from The Magician and to Armand van Helden.

Aftermoon is the icing on the cake on to an already killer EP. The Lost Into The Night lead track has seen support from Mylo, The Swiss and Tommy Sunshine and many more. It has been given the remix treatment from up-and-coming German producer Pwndtiac, Hype Machine chart-topper Tontario, and disco-funk producer Cats Hero, altogether creating one diverse, stylish offering to keep you dancing all summer.
