AJ Christou Links Up With Long-Time Friends And Whippin’ Bosses Mason Collective

He welcomes them to his blossoming V-House Sound imprint for their latest collaboration, ‘Samburu’.

Launched earlier this year at the start of July, AJ Christou’s burgeoning V-House Sound imprint has already welcomed a wealth of support with its inaugural two releases, with the newly minted label racking up love from Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice and Seth Troxler amongst many. Having worked alongside Miami’s Amal Nemer on his last single, ‘Wild Mind’, he takes things back to the home turf and welcomes a big collaboration with Manchester’s finest as close friends Mason Collective join the label for ‘Samburu’.

Offering rolling, organic drum licks, vibrant stabs and a snaking bassline, with hazy murmurs and bright vocals accenting the production effortlessly, ‘Samburu’ is a slice of house music drenched in vivid tones, before the ‘VHS Afro Dub’ brings an abundance of sun-soaked sonics via rich guitar riffs and sweeping melodies to close the show in style.
