Album Review: Visa Anxiety – What Can I Get For You? Love

The new record “What Can I Get For You? Love” by Visa anxiety showcases a masterpiece in cross continental art, both musically and creatively.

What seemingly began somewhat as an experiment, has evolved into a confident, richly textured indie-rock statement. One that threads Chinese melodic nuance through the grainy atmospherics of British alternative rock, without ever sounding too contrived.

At the heart of it all is lead man and songwriter – Emilio Wang, whose bilingual songwriting and emotive vocal delivery give’s the project its unique and unmistakable character. His creative flair showcases the ability to interweave between cultural Mandarin storytelling and UK indie-rock style music.

Overall, this offer’s a fresh vantage point in a scene that can tend to fall into the trap of simply being…too samey!

When listening to the album, Visa Anxiety sound bigger, bolder, and more intentional throughout. With slick production, edginess, and mature songwriting from Wang himself…

In short, it’s a welcome listen covering through provoking and intriguing themes whilst not being too heavy, and being a very pleasant experience.

We are really excited to see what they have coming next!
