Alesso announces he will be releasing a series of EPs next year and shares a sneak peek of his new track “RED”. The Grammy-nominated Swedish producer sets forth his new “Less Is More” concept that will see him putting out fresh new music, art and videos continuously throughout 2016. He will also be winding back on shows in order to produce bigger, select performances in each tour market with quality being pushed to the max for truly special experiences.
“I wanted to limit the amount of appearances I made worldwide in 2016 in order to really focus on the experience, and make it really special. I have a lot of amazing venues lined up. The EP’s will also allow me to capture a period of time or an influence from a particular place and sound then encapsulate it in one piece of work and later move easily into a new phase. I’m 24 and this year is all about experimenting and pushing myself more than ever, both with my music and my shows. And of course, its perfect for me that Sweden is the first announcement.” – ALESSO
He will only be doing two shows in his native Sweden: headlining both Summerburst fest in Gothenburg on May 28th and Summerburst in Stockholm on June 11th. The shows will mark Alesso’s first headlining slot after his sold out show at the legendary The Globe theatre (Sweden’s biggest venue). The remaining shows will be announced shortly and new music will drop at the top of the year. He’ll also be releasing limited clothing items that will only be available for 24 hours at a time launching this December.
