Hotly-tipped Manchester based DJ and producer Alex Hobson has unveiled his infectious new single ‘Hands’ featuring Katy Tiz via RCA UK. Listen HERE.
Featuring a sample of Crystal Water’s timeless classic ‘Gypsy Woman’, Hobson combines euphoric piano chords with infectious breakdowns and is topped by the stunning vocals of Katy Tiz to create a club-ready banger.
Speaking about the track Alex says: ‘As soon as the opportunity for hands came about I knew I had to take it on and turn it into something brilliant. Records like Gypsy Woman were the kind of songs I grew up on and I instantly had a good idea in my head of how it was going to sound. I’m really happy with the outcome & I hope everybody loves it as much as me and Katy do!’
The release follows Alex’s momentous collaboration with Talia Mar ‘Good On You’ which has garnered 4.7 million streams worldwide. The track was supported by key tastemakers including MistaJam, Charlie Powell, Coco (All Capital Dance) and Matt & Mollie at BBC Radio 1 and was also spun on Love Island last week.
21 year old producer Alex Hobson has quickly gained momentum amassing over 15 million streams worldwide. Citing artists such as MK, Gorgon City and Jax Jones as his musical influences, Alex has already received a wealth of support from heavyweight producers including Nathan Dawe, Endor and James Hype.
Destined for dancefloors and festivals alike, ‘Hands’ is out now and looks set to cement Alex Hobson’s position as a producer to watch.
