Alexander Popov collabs with Ahmed Helmy on anthemic new single ‘In Your Mind’

 

Renowned producer/DJ Alexander Popov returns with fresh new dance anthem ‘In Your Mind’ with Ahmed Helmy, out today on 6th October.

 

Straight from Alexander Popov’s upcoming new album Reflected, which will be released next month, ‘In Your Mind’is a supercharged collaboration with Ahmed Helmy, a name which is on all the radars of the EDM scene right now. A desert gem with an Eastern flavor, massive energy, and signature future rave elements by Ahmed Helmy, the track shows off the signature mainstage trance sounds of Alexander Popov. Ultimately, this is an awesome single for the biggest stages and local events.

 

Following the recent ‘Overtaking’, a euphoric collaboration with producers Chester Young and Whiteout, ‘In Your Mind’ is the final single release before Alexander Popov’s upcoming third album Reflected, out on 3rd November. Reflecting events from the artist’s life as well as the world around him since his last album Intention, which came out five years ago, the 16-track new LP is set to feature big names including Paul Oakenfold and Heatbeat.

 

Speaking about the track, Popov elaborates, “This is our second collaboration with Ahmed Helmy since ‘Resolution’ in April 2022. I felt that this was the kind of track the album was missing to make my message complete! This is a very dynamic and bright track, I think one of the most charged on the album. It sounds authentic, fresh, and good for both the big mainstages and at the same time for the local events. Ahmed Helmy is a rising artist who is on fire now! I am so happy with this track!”

 

Popov has collaborated with the likes of Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin, Cosmic Gate, and played at massive festivals like Global Gathering, Dreamstate, A State Of Trance, FIFA Fest and Love Parade to name a few. In 2021 Alexander was listed in 1001tracklists’ Top 100 Producers, and in 2022 was named in DJ Mag’s Top 150 for the fifth time.

 

It’s been a legendary run for this forward-thinking artist, but things are about to get even better with the release of Reflected. A hard-hitting EDM banger with an Eastern flavour, ‘In Your Mind’ offers a tantalising taste of what’s to come from Alexander Popov.
