Alfie Cridland, Tannergard & Damon Hess Combine For New Single

Perfect Havoc continues its spirited run of emphatic Dance Pop releases this summer with a striking vocal-led creation from a trio of celebrated global production talents. Coming together on the undeniably catchy ‘Single Life’ released on 26th August, Alfie Cridland, Tannergard & Damon Hess have joined forces with on-trend London-based vocalist MICHAELA to carve out a refreshingly up-to-date club record.

‘Single Life’ plays on the carefree enjoyment and motiveless indulgence of the dancefloor, focusing on endless layers of enticing musicality, upbeat rhythms and MICHAELA’s captivating vocal topline. At home in DJ sets just as much as it is on commercial dance radio, it’s another impressively multifaceted offering from one of the UK’s most revered independent labels.

As a producer, UK breaking artist Alfie Cridland is known for his more commercial house offerings, but as a DJ, he’s a selector of all things electronic, R&B and hip hop. Cridland’s clever mash ups and skill set in cross-genre mixing won over UK bass artist, Nathan Dawe, to take first place in Dawe’s competitive search for the next generation of DJ talent to accompany him on tour.

Alfie Cridland’s foray into production only began in June 2020 when his debut single on Perfect Havoc, ‘Last Day In Paradise’ alongside Paul Kaye, hit No. 2 on the iTunes Dance Chart. Later that year, he released ‘New Levels’ with Tobtok and Milwin, which has been streamed over 20 million times, synced on numerous primetime TV shows including Love Island UK, and was made Tune Of The Week on BBC Radio 1. He’s since put out the tech house track ‘It Was All A Dream’ sampling Biggie Smalls and supported by everyone from ACRAZE to Miane.

Originally from Sweden, Tannergard is a 26-year-old producer and topliner based in London with over 300M in streams. Most recently, he’s co-written Cat Burn’s #2 UK charting ‘Go’ as well as co-produced Steve Aoki & Natanael Cano’s current single ‘Nataaoki.’ His speciality is working with emerging artists like GIRLI to find their sonic identity, to the tune of +25M in breakout streams. In 2020, he worked on songs for BTS (‘We Are Bulletproof The Eternal’) on the platinum-certified album ‘Map of the Soul 7’ and has gone on to place tracks on Love Island, Made in Chelsea and in FIFA video games.

Damon Hess is a multi-skilled artist who presents, DJs and produces. With over 12 million streams worldwide to his name, he is a prolific writer of dance music, which he shares with the world through his global club residencies and on the airwaves on Select Radio. Moreover, he’s one of Ibiza’s busiest resident DJs, holding down spots at Eden Ibiza, O Beach Ibiza, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza and more.

Perfect Havoc – a runner-up for Best Independent Record Label at the 2022 Music Week Awards – is one of the most successful indie dance labels of recent years. Its trademark commercial dance with a smattering of the more club-focused sounds has generated over 5 billion streams and given rise to six UK Top 20 singles, including the No.1 single ‘Head & Heart’ by four-time Brit Award-nominated producer Joel Corry & MNEK.
