Alison Wonderland, one of Australia’s fastest rising young musicians/producers/DJs has a glossy, futuristic take on pop electronica which has already caught the attention of globally influential DJs including the likes of Diplo who featured her DJ mix on his Diplo & Friends show on BBC Radio 1. Fresh off the back of her US debut at Coachella, a string of sold out US dates, her UK release of debut EP ‘I Want U’, as well as the US release of her debut album ‘Run’ hitting #1 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Chart, Alison has now announced the album’s UK release date as 4th September 2015.
Bound by a strong visual identity and a complex understanding of both classical and electronic instrumentation, her work is explored fully across ‘Run’, an album of colour, verve and intensity.
To go alongside the slow trap inspired lead single of the same name, Alison has presented a gritty video for ‘Run’ with juxtaposing images of frenetic hooliganism set against a backdrop of contrasting pastel colours, thought out by award winning director Tim K.

Last month saw Alison’s first official UK release with ‘I Want U’ EP via new label partners Virgin EMI UK. Having already enjoyed huge success in both Australia, New Zealand and the US – her debut album ‘Run’ charted #1 in the US on Billboard’s dance/electronic charts, #1 on the US iTunes Electronic chart and at #6 on the official Australian Album chart – The ‘I Want U’ EP (featuring the title track, ‘U Don’t Know ft Wayne Coyne’ and ‘Cold’) served as the perfect UK introduction to her abstract, technicolor world, now to be followed up by the exciting full length album debut album ‘Run’.
