Greece’s Vangelis Kostoxenakis joins the MadTech roster this March with his ‘All In’ EP.
Athens, Greece based producer Vangelis Kostoxenakis stepped onto the scene in 2014 via a run of releases on Kling Klong and has since gone on to release his style of high octane house via labels such as Snatch!, Moon Harbour, Food, DIRTYBIRD and now Madhouse sub-label MadTech.
Title-track ‘All In’ leads with an amalgamation of processed vocal chops, hooky organ licks and electro- tinged bass running alongside shuffled drums and snare rolls before ‘Move Me’ takes things deeper employing choppy stab sequences, airy chords and swinging 909 drums.
‘Oh Man’ then closes the package with a darker feel to contrast the former two cuts, this time round laying focus on resonant blips, square wave bass chops and murky spoken word vocals tucked into the depths of the composition.
