Following up the success of his last ‘Looking For Base / Search For Ecstasy’ EP, which gained support from the likes of UK garage legends MJ Cole and Todd Edwards, Allusion returns alongside tech-house maven D. Ramirez for the hard-hitting ‘So Special / Love Game’ EP.
D. Ramirez is a name that should need no introduction to electronic music fans – the Ivor Novello-nominated former resident of Sankeys, Ministry of Sound and Space Ibiza helped forge the tech-house sound that is so popular today, both through his solo productions and collaborations with Mark Knight. Meanwhile the mysterious Allusion has been raising eyebrows since he dropped his first track ‘Think About Me’ via the genre-defining Pure Deep House album.
‘So Special’ kicks off the EP, boasting a modern deep house melody and effortlessly cool vocal cut over a shuffling house beat.
On the flip is ‘Love Game’, which sees D. Ramirez showing off his tech-house chops with fat percussion and a chunky descending bassline that complements Allusion’s style perfectly.
Catch this unmissable collaboration when it drops this November and look out for more to come from Allusion and Big Love Music in 2015.
