Bass music aficionado MYRNE returns with his monstrous new anthem ‘Altars’. His most genre bending production yet, ‘Altars’ is a must for any bass music lover, and is available now as a free download exclusively via MYRNE’s SoundCloud.
Yet another track that showcases MYRNE’s years of musical training and impeccable production abilities, ‘Altars’ draws on components from several genres within the bass music sphere. Combining elements of Drum and Bass, Trap and Future Bass, ‘Altars’ weaves between melodic wiry synth breakdowns and dramatic builds. Sampling the infamous 'Amen Break' drum loop, synonymous to Breakbeat and Drum and Bass, MYRNE adds a new and exhilarating dynamic to the already distinctive track, increasing the tension throughout.
Since his first emergence as a producer in the latter stages of 2015 with his debut EP ‘Softsins’ on Mad Decent, MYRNE has gone from strength to strength. 2016 was a year of filled with milestones in the rising artist's career. Rounding off his South East Asia tour, and performing at some of the top tier electronic music events, including numerous ULTRA events worldwide, helped garner the burgeoning producer support from the likes of Diplo, The Chainsmokers and Major Lazer. Now set to make this year his biggest to date, MYRNE has also announced his upcoming tour throughout Asia and Australia which will see the star performing at some of the hottest venues around.
