Just last month saw Zinc drop a VIP mix of last year’s smash Gammy Elbow alongside Chris Lorenzo. Barely allowing you the time to catch your breath, the ever-prolific producer now follows it up with yet another stone-cold banger.
With its chunky drums, looped, pitched-up rave vocals and relentlessly visceral synth stabs, Amergency is one of the most arresting house records you’re likely to hear. Taking clear cues from his roots in jungle, Zinc has produced a track that nods to the past, yet is absolutely of the moment: a no-holds-barred, slammin’ dancefloor cut of the very highest order.
