American DJ and producer shotgunwedding releases new release “Be Sexier”

shotgunwedding is a rising star in the world of electronic music. Based out of Nashville, Tennessee, he has gained a following for his Tech House beats and high-energy performances.

What sets shotgunwedding apart from other artists in the genre is his willingness to take risks and push boundaries. He has a knack for creating tracks that are both dancefloor-optimized and memorable, with catchy hooks and infectious beats that get people moving.

One of the hallmarks of shotgunwedding’s sound is his use of vocals and signature snares. His tracks are known for their strong bass and beat, which make them perfect for clubs and festivals. He has produced some memorable tracks, attracting attention from record labels such as World Sound, Whore House, Nite Records and Twists of Time.

The latter has also released shotgunwedding’s latest single “Be Sexier” which is available now on all stores and streaming platforms.

“Recently, I had the opportunity to rework the first track I ever made, which was included on my debut EP, “Be Sexy” This track holds a special place in my heart, and it was exciting to revisit it and give it a fresh twist.”

One of the challenges of reworking an old track is striking a balance between retaining the essence of the original composition while introducing new elements to enhance its appeal, which shotgunwedding has done effortlessly.

The current single moves in a new direction away from the hard electronic genre and follows a more Tech House route. Keeping the catchy vocal “I want you to be sexy,” that people love singing along with, but adding elements to make it feel fresh and exciting.

shotgunwedding has an impeccable ear for melody and rhythm, crafting an atmosphere that connects with his audience and creating a carefree party atmosphere that is infectious with his fun and funny personality.

“Over the years, my playing style as a DJ has evolved significantly. For me, it’s not just about playing tracks and keeping the party going; it’s about creating an experience that people will remember for a long time. I strive to push the boundaries of what’s possible with my equipment, using every tool at my disposal to keep the energy high and the crowd engaged.

One of the most important aspects of my playing style is my use of cues, reverb, echo, delay, ping pong, and other effects to enhance the music and create a unique atmosphere. These effects allow me to create dynamic transitions between tracks, build tension, and keep the energy flowing smoothly throughout the set. Technology is advancing and I want to use every bit of it to put my stamp on a set.”
