Amsterdam Dance Event Announces First Festival Acts

The 18th edition of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), the world’s biggest club festival and leading conference for electronic music, will be featuring a record 2.000 DJs and acts performing at more than 90 venues and 400 events across the city. The 2013 edition, taking place from 16 – 20 October, expects 300.000 visitors from around the world. The organization is proud to announce the first selection of confirmed artists to play at its festival.

ADE Playground: Gear / Art / Film / In-Stores
ADE also offers an extensive program for electronic music enthusiasts during the day called ADE Playground. ADE Playground combines a series of special events that transform parts of the center of Amsterdam into pop-up stores and one-off, never to be repeated events, and is divided into four categories: Art, Film, Gear and In-Stores. It includes studio sessions, hardware workshops, special movie screenings, exhibitions, unique offers and one-off clothing lines, as well as in-store and outdoor performances by top record labels, DJs and artists.

ADE Conference: the ultimate business platform
ADE’s business platform attracts 4.000 professionals from 75 countries and features seven separate and self-contained conference threads, including ADE Pro, ADE Tech and ADE Green amongst others, making ADE the ultimate platform for critical dialogue and debate in the field of electronic music. Confirmed speakers include: Nile Rodgers, Richie Hawtin, Shailendra Singh, Armin van Buuren, Martin Kierszenbaum, Hardwell, Bob Lefsetz, Don Diablo, Nikhil Shah, Dave Smith and many others.
