Amsterdam Dance Event’s festival program nears completion

With the latest additions including Armin van Buuren (NL), Charlotte de Witte (BE), Dixon (DE), Helena Hauff (DE), Jon Hopkins (GB), Maceo Plex (US), Nina Kraviz (RU) and Ricardo Villalobos (CL), the 2017 line up of the Amsterdam Dance Event’s festival is almost complete.

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), an initiative of Buma, is the world's largest club festival and the most important business conference for electronic music. The 2017 edition will feature around 2500 performers, an all-time record number, playing in over 140 locations in Amsterdam and around 550 speakers in the diverse conference programme. Music pioneer Gary Numan, Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh, Martin Garrix and Pussy Riot's Nadya Tolokonnikova are among the artists that will be taking part in the daytime events.

After 16 years in the Felix Meritis ADE Conference moves to the DeLaMar this year to allow major renovations to take place in its old venue. The new ADE Festival Hangout, located at De Brakke Grond, will be the dedicated place to 'immerse in sound' from ADE's Wednesday through till Saturday, with Q&A’s featuring DVS1, Surgeon & Lady Starlight, Tiga & Soulwax, gear demonstrations, masterclasses, audio-visual experiences, modular synth setups and live performances and much more on the bill.
