Amsterdam Open Air reveals 5th anniversary line up

With the four previous successful editions still fresh in our minds, Amsterdam Open Air returns to recreational park Gaasperpark for its fifth anniversary. During the weekend of the 6th and 7th of June, the best of Amsterdam’s nightlife melt seamlessly into a musical, culinary and cultural adventure. The weekend holds true to the tradition of previous editions and unites the new and established faces of today and tomorrow. Today, Amsterdam Open Air reveals its line-up.

Every year Amsterdam Open Air collaborates with a variable collection of the most inspiring Amsterdam-based organizations. This Collaboration of Friends create a festival that reflects the best the Dutch capital has to offer with four main stages, five intimate stages and a spirit island. This year, FORMAT, GirlsLoveDJs, Straf_Werk, MTV, Weiter, Yours Truly, Voyage Direct, Lotgenoten, Disco Dolly, Vunzige Deuntjes, Tomorrow Is Now, Kid!, Klear, Africa’s Epic Sound and Radio Noet Noet provide content to the stages. Together, these parties offer a dynamic mix of house, techhouse, deephouse, techno, eclectic, UK, hip-hop and disco.

Artists such as Madeon, Kyla La Grange, Black Coffee, Claptone, Zeds Dead, Bakermat, Bondax, De Sluwe Vos, Typhoon, Ben Sims, Klingande, Detroit Swindle, Tom Trago, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Surgeon and Jackmaster will make their appearance this year. An international mix of rising stars alongside veterans, alternated by promising local talent and bands.

Amsterdam Open Air will once again accommodate to those wanting to stay overnight at Gaaspercamping. We will continue after hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening, and visitors can bask in the music till 04:00. The Silent Disco – last year’s hit – will return and the Music Lounge will be expanded.

The presale of day- and weekend tickets has started and are available on the Amsterdam Open Air website.

Weekend ticket: €79,50
Camping ticket: €109,50
Day ticket: €47,50.
The campsite is open from Friday June 5th 12:00 till Monday June 8th 12:00.

Transportation
Amsterdam Open Air is easily accessible by public transportation. The entrance is situated a mere 400 meters from the end station of metro 53 (stop Gaasperplas). Travelling to Amsterdam by train, you can hop on to metro 53 to Gaasperplas at Central Station.
