Anassa releases sexy sophomore single ‘Stay Over’

Breakout British pop starlet Anassa returns with ‘Stay Over’, her sophomore single out 24th March on Laguna Music

‘Stay Over’ is a feel good anthem, pairing Anassa’s sugar-sweet vocals with a funky bassline and four-to-the-floor stomp. “Get a boy for the weekend”, she sings on a hooky chorus about love and lust.

The track follows Anassa’s debut single ‘On and On’, the smash hit which featured MOBO award-winning rapper Alika and has since been remixed by Wilson & Smokin’ Jack Hill

A forward-thinking pop star born out of the adrenaline rush of club culture, Manchester-based Anassa has a knack for writing big tunes that fuse her clubbing roots with massive hooks, tough melodies, and soaring vocals.

Before her first two singles of 2023, the rising star also featured on two huge club hits over the summer of 2022: ‘Summer of Love’ with Tom Ferry, released on Jonas Blue’s Electronic Nature label and synced on Love Island, and ‘Too Blind’, the club banger from renowned UK producer Z Dot.

Following up on her breakthrough debut single, ‘Stay Over’ adds to this new star’s growing reputation with another sexy electro-pop anthem. Anassa is one to watch for 2023.
