Andrea Oliva brings the Ibiza season with vibrant new single ‘Rio’

Dance music favourite Andrea Oliva returns with new single ‘Rio’, out 20th May on his All I Need label.

A flamboyant club track featuring tantalising piano hooks and brimming with colour, ‘Rio’ possesses all the attributes to become one of Ibiza’s biggest dance hits. Oliva’s sixth release on his own label, it follows on from his well-received recent EP ‘Cala Bass’. He also recently relaunched his legendary ANTS Ibiza residency at Ushuaia, and will perform at a slew of other venues in the coming weeks, including Zurich Street Parade, Music On, Medusa Festival and various Elrow events.

Speaking on the record, Andrea comments “I would call ‘Rio’ a lockdown production. During the lockdown I felt the freedom of doing everything I was feeling at the moment. ‘Rio’ is indeed a very emotional track, which reflects perfectly what I went through emotionally during this time. It was good to experiment a bit, to go more melodic, and it feels great to look back and forth in time and see the future hopefully brighter.”

Having taught himself to DJ at the age of 13, Andrea enjoyed a rapid ascent through the ranks. Eventually he made his way to Ibiza, where in 2004 he was first invited to DJ at Space and would later headline ANTS Ushuaia for many years. He has also released on labels including Hot Creations, Desolat, Truesoul, Play It Say It, Saved and Relief Records.

Launched last summer, All I Need is a statement that encapsulates the crucial role that music plays in Andrea’s life – and the lives of music lovers all over the world. It is composed of a music label, events wing and upcoming fashion line, and represents a philosophy, a way of life and the desire to put music and creativity at the centre of his world.

Andrea Oliva continues to cement All I Need’s status as one of the most exciting new dance labels on the planet.
