Andrew Emil, Red Eye and Ron Carroll join forces on Can’t Stop, out now on Miguel Migs’ Salted Music. The track is a disco-infused house cut that celebrates Chicago’s legacy while pushing it forward, driven by Carroll’s unmistakable vocal and a polished, sample-led production from Emil and Red Eye.
Each artist brings a distinct voice. Emil, a classically trained percussionist and long-time Chicago figure, has over 200 credits across labels like OM, Farris Wheel and 20/20 Vision, while co-founding the community project Viva Acid. Red Eye has built a reputation for melodic, emotive releases on Defected, Dirtybird and select European imprints. Carroll, known globally as the “Minister of Sound,” has lent his voice and writing to some of house music’s most enduring anthems, from Subliminal and Defected classics to collaborations with Axwell and Bob Sinclar.
Together, they deliver a track that’s warm, uplifting and rooted in community spirit. Can’t Stop is as much a love letter to Chicago as it is a reminder that house music’s heartbeat continues to thrive worldwide.
